Meet our Youth Director

I grew up in the small town of Amite, LA, and after moving to Lafayette for college I’ve had the privilege of serving as Youth Director at Covenant for the past two and a half years. My wife, Camryn, and I love being a part of this church family, and our little Chihuahua, Ozzy, is never far from the action at home.

I’ve always been drawn to creative things—whether playing music, building something new, or finding fresh ways to connect faith with everyday life. I see creativity as one of the ways God has wired me, and I love using those gifts to engage our students in meaningful, Christ-centered ways.

Ministry became real for me when I was a teenager. I grew up in church, but it wasn’t until I became part of a youth group that faith moved from being just “something I knew about” to being something I lived. In that setting, I experienced God’s love through worship, missions, and friendships, and I began to sense that He was calling me to help others find the same thing.

At Covenant, I’ve discovered a true home where I am teaching young people to trust Christ, serve others, and live out their faith. My guiding principle has been simple: if we give students Jesus above everything else, He will do the work of transformation. That conviction continues to shape everything I do.

I believe God has called me to a lifetime of ministry, and I’m excited to see how He continues to shape both me and the youth of Covenant for His Kingdom. More than anything, my hope is to help people, especially young people, discover that a life with Jesus isn’t just an idea or tradition, but the most real, transformative, and joyful way to live.
